Our Wax Standard

Every J | F Candle Co. candle begins with 100% domestically grown soy wax. Soy wax is plant-based, renewable, and well-suited to a slower, more intentional burn.

We choose soy because it supports the kind of candle experience we believe in: clean, even, balanced, and easy to live with. A candle should bring atmosphere into a room without feeling heavy or overwhelming.


Our Wick Standard

Wicks shape the way a candle burns. They influence the flame, melt pool, wax surface, and fragrance release from the first light to the final burn.

Our candles are made with natural hemp wicks selected for their clean, consistent performance. Hemp wicks help support a steady flame and a refined burn experience when the candle is cared for properly.

Care detail

Each candle arrives with pre-trimmed wicks for the first burn. After that, trimming to 1/4 inch before each burn helps maintain a cleaner flame and more even wax surface.
